Sugar-coated Nostalgia.

I'm presently eating Cap'n Crunch: Crunch Berries for the first time in years and even though I'm shoveling horrible things like "partially hydrogenated soybean oil" and "yellow 5" into my mouth...it's sogood, omg. OM NOM NOM NOM.

star98hope tagged me a while back for her Letter Meme, and I'm just getting around to it now, so...

Music that causes a squee-worthy response for the letter "K":

1. "Kiss Me" by The Brothers Black. A Wrock band that has, admittedly, only given us a few songs, but the ones that are there are pure gold. Presently number 15 on my iTunes Top 25 Most Played. An awesome ballad-esque song from Hermione's perspective. Excellent music, all around.

2. "Kodachrome" by Paul Simon. First, because I heart S&G, and though this isn't strictly an S&G song (despite the fact they played it together during their Madison Square Garden hook-up back in '05, I believe), I completely love every second of it. I especially love singing that line, "When I think back on all the CRAP I learned in high school". Jesus, and I loved my high school experience, but wow...if you went to my high school, you'd know how applicable that line is.

3. "Küssen Verboten" by Die Prinzen (pronounced "Koo-sen Fer-boat-en" by Dee Printzen). God, Die Prinzen rocks. In a really cheesy, 80's, a cappella kind of way. I first heard them in high school German class with their hit "Millionär". Completely awesome and catchy and it will have you singing it (whether you speak German or not) within only a couple times of hearing it.

I only had time for three. But moar to come soon, as I certainly enjoy reccing anything I can.

*Cuts entry short*

Updatage later.
